Aren't you guys getting a refresh spell? And capable of self-SCs, the only job capable of such alongside SAM until the new Sekkanoki lowering? And w/ SAM, you could now do 2 in a row?

lol Yeah. It's only 5 set points now for Auto Refresh, and I know our LS is awesome on keeping Refresh and Haste up. But the PUGs many of us Blue Mages(and PLDs like Jar!) usually have to bite it having a RDM that decides to be a BLM instead(great, as long as you enfeeble, and buff the party with the nukes).

Then again, I shouldn't complain. Thanks to Campaign, a great wife, and my great friends of TCD, I'll get to max level with capped sword and blue magic anyway. I just need to learn to solo better in Sky/Sea/the Mire or where ever imps and birds that I can solo will be. Maybe even learn to do that well in Beaucidine in the Past. With Promyvion losing its level cap, it's no more free exp while farming. ^^;;

Now, if only using Self-Destruct other than the +STR or helping towards auto-refresh was worth getting weakness for... Other than White Wind, this is a favorite old blue magic since I played FFVI. That, and Thousand Needles and Bad Breath...(Which royally suck MP to Dot/DMG wise in FFXI) Mind Blast and Eyes on me are fun though. Just need more INT/CHR, just working on ACC/Haste gear at the moment.

Edit: I forgot one thing: Going /SAM and spamming our skillchains... Dead BLUs' would be in anguish everywhere, even more than usual. lol

If this perfect counter thing can reliably turn aside nasty TP moves it might make MNK counter tanking (finally) effective in a larger sense.
